All things considered he is doing well but it's been an emotional roller coaster this week. My daughter was amazing at the delivery (I was there) but it's so hard now for her and her wife as they cannot stay overnight at the hospital which means they have to come home every night and leave him behind. It's still early days so we're trying to get into a routine and I'm staying with them to help out with all the mundane stuff they don't want to think about just now. As you can imagine, it's exhausting for them.
I'm really thankful that I'm not working anymore and was able to just drop everything and be able to support them. It's going to be a long haul. Prayers are always appreciated.
As for the A-Z challenge (26 posts during April based on the letters of the Alphabet) I had so many good intentions. I had prepared almost half the posts in advance and scheduled them to post on the correct day and was planning on finishing the other posts as we went along. Mainly because from 1st to 11th April hubby and I should have been cruising around the British Isles. (Thank goodness the baby wasn't a day later or we would have been out at sea!) I was hoping to catch up with posting links to the home site and answering comments once we were home with reliable internet service.
I think it's understandable that I've given up on that plan. I've not been posting my links on the home site as there's no way I could keep up with visiting other blogs and replying to comments given our current circumstances.
It will be a while before the baby can come home. I'll post as and when I can. Have a good weekend all.
